Recently, I went on a spiritual cleanse- to reconnect with God and realign with my destiny.
One thing I discovered is that craziness, although often ostracised, is a key ingredient in godliness.
From my guy Peter who even dared step out of a boat to WALK ON WATER, or 4ft11 David going to fight a 7ft sword wielding giant with some pebbles, faith invites us to act crazy at times
I believe that a fundamental makeup of a believer is the ability to relinquish control and for a moment, have total faith in something that makes no sense
I think many of us have that ability however, I think the main difference and the reason we fall short is our failure to persist and our need for stability
Peter got out of the boat, Peter walked on water but Peter took his eye off the Lord, tried to reach back to the boat and began to drown
David just showed up (he didn’t even come with the pebbles or slingshot), turned down the King’s armour, he showed up to a gun fight with nothing but crazy faith
I think it is paramount that we simply step out without a safety net. I challenge you this week, to do something based solely on crazy stupid faith
Looking back, I think often we’ll find, that in fact it’s not crazy to have faith, rather it’s crazy not to. Because in retrospect, God has always come through for you! G bless 🖤
